Fall Makeup Trends 2026: Berry, Terracotta & Beautifully Natural

Fall makeup is all about rich, warm color this year—but it doesn’t have to look heavy. Think berry lips, terracotta lips, rustic cheeks, brown eyeliner and soft brown eyeshadow, paired with natural-looking skin.

Berry Lips Are Back

One of my favorite fall trends is a beautiful berry lip. You can go deeper and richer for evening or keep it soft and sheer for daytime. Berry instantly gives your face that pretty fall color without needing a lot of other makeup.

Terracotta & Rustic Tones

Terracotta and rustic shades are perfect for fall. They have that warm, earthy look that works beautifully with the season. Try a terracotta lip with a soft rustic or berry cheek for a really pretty combination.

Brown Eyes Instead of Harsh Black

Brown eyeliner is a great way to make your eyes stand out while keeping your makeup softer. Pair it with warm brown eyeshadow—think chocolate, caramel and soft matte browns.

You don't need a complicated eye. A little brown shadow, brown liner and mascara can make your eyes look beautiful without looking like you are wearing a ton of makeup.

Keep Your Brows Natural

This fall, brows are looking natural and softly defined. You want to see your brows—not a heavy, drawn-on brow. Fill in only where you need it and keep the shape looking like your own.

And finally, I love that the overall look is fresh and natural. Your skin doesn't need to be covered up. A little foundation or concealer where you need it, some soft cheek color, and your favorite fall lip can be enough.
